Highland County Water Company reports brown water issue
https://www.highlandcountywater.com/
Highland County Water Company has been experiencing a "brown water" issue throughout the system.
According to the company, the water is safe although it is discolored.
"It is the result of a line relocation done on a main transmission line," Highland County Water Company said Monday, Nov. 18. "We are currently working to flush the system. Please avoid doing laundry, especially white and light-colored clothing. Please call the office if you have questions or issues of staining. Sorry for the inconvenience."
