Marguerite I. McKee
Marguerite I. McKee
Marguerite I. McKee, 91, of Mowrystown, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born Oct. 26, 1929 in Mowrystown, the daughter of the late Leslie William Harvey and Minnie Marguerite Amey Harvey.
She was a graduate of Whiteoak High School in the class of 1948. She was a member of the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church and had worked at the Old Y Restaurant for over 17 years.
Surviving are three sons, Mark L. (Nola) McKee of Winchester, Jay (Debbie) McKee, of Lynchburg and Wade "Boo" McKee of Mowrystown. Also surviving are six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by five brothers, Dick Hugh, Ralph, Clifford, Earl "Curley" and Phillip Harvey; and three sisters, Betty Louden, Joy Lyons and Shirley Harvey.
Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, Jan, 27 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, on Wednesday, Jan. 27 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Contributions may be made to the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church.
